Founder of Kapila Pashu Aahar—a vision born from the soil, shaped by trust, and driven by results
Our founder, Mr. Surendra Shivhare, grew up in an impoverished region of Bundelkhand, where he witnessed firsthand the struggles of farmers and the lack of nutrient-rich cattle feed. At the time, issues like short cattle lifespans, poor reproductive cycles, and low milk production were widespread. Determined to make a difference, he pursued a degree in animal husbandry from Kanpur University (DAV College) and, in 1991, took a loan of ₹27 lakh to establish Kamdhenu Cattle Feeds Pvt Ltd. The company began with a manual plant in Bharua Sumerpur, Hamirpur (Uttar Pradesh) and a modest production capacity of 50 MT per day.
Over the years, he built the business from the ground up by educating farmers on the benefits of complete nutritional feed. As awareness grew, so did demand from farmers and dairy owners, driving the company’s expansion. With his unwavering commitment to the philosophy of “Quality First,” he transformed Kapila Pashu Aahar into an industry leader.
